You Gonna Come Joggin’ Sunday?

So, what are your plans for Mother’s Day this weekend?

Are you gonna sit back, relax, enjoy a peacefully quiet Sunday with Mom? Are you going to be the Mom who sits back, relaxes, and enjoys a peacefully quiet Sunday with your kids?

I’ll be in Alabama for the weekend, yucky flu germs and all, hanging out with The World’s Greatest Mom (go ahead, argue with me about whether or not my Mom’s the Greatest – go ahead! I dare you!) But even though I’ll be hanging out with Mom, craft shopping for something new to tinker with in her craft room, and poking my Dad in the ribs to get him to make Mom sit down and stop waiting on everyone, I still plan to spend a little time joggin’ around the blogosphere to visit other blogs.

The Blue Inkwell and Two and a Half Writers are participating in Carol Denbow’s Blog Jog Day this Sunday. (Carol’s the author of A Book Inside, and hosts a blog of the same name.) We’ll be trotting around to all kinds of other writer and non-writerly blogs, looking for cool stuff & even cooler bloggers.

The fun starts here, bright and early Sunday, 8AM EST. Mark your calendar, put a reminder in your smartphone, tape a note on the fridge, stick a sticky note on your desk, write a note on your forehead with a Sharpie, whatever you have to do. Just remember to be here Sunday morning!

I’ll have a link to the next blog on the jogging path for Blog Jog Day. That blog will have a link to the next blog, and so on and so on. Carol says there’s over 100 blogs participating, so who knows what you might find as we jog along.

Don’t forget to stop and take a look around each blog. See if they have something that interests you. That’s the whole point of Blog Jog Day, to find a new blog or blogger we find interesting & want to keep reading.
